F1 Video

So here is a video of some of the photos I took at the GP. Cleverly put together by animoto.

F1 GP – Melbourne

Last weekend was the start of a new Formula 1 season. Melbourne is the perfect start to a crazy season and it’s a great wind down from summer.

Wednesday Jacob & drove up to Brisbane airport at 12pm , checked in and hit the Coronas. The flight is nearly two hours and with the time zone

Back in the running

So I have spent most of today recovering from being at the F1 Grand Prix in Melbourne. The rest of the day was sorting out my hosting; which appeared to have been ‘cancelled’ whilst I was away.

This will explain why the site has not been available over the last week. That will teach me for

Rugby League World Cup Final 2008

After a week of heavy rain and spectacular storms it was time for the Final. For once the storms did not materialise and the weather was perfect.

Andreas, James, Rob and I headed out early for a few pre game drinks at the Caxton (Hotel). The atmosphere was pretty good as always, for once the Kiwis

Wallabies need to Tri harder as the All Blacks bring it home!

NEW Zealand have won a breathless Test against Australia in Brisbane, claiming the Tri-Nations title and the Bledisloe Cup with a 28-24 victory.

Another action packed Saturday event was kicked off when James, Andreas, Ness & I headed off to watch the finale of the Bledisloe cup & Tri Nations.

We arrived in Caxton Street at 3pm

After dropping the bags of at the hotel we headed out. Stopping in one of Sydney’s oldest pubs for a couple of beers. We met a couple of old timers John and

Yo!

So the weekend was a busy affair. Andreas came up to celebrate both James’ & My birthdays.

Friday evening turned into one messy night - we think!? After the token gins, red wine, cognac and beer not much more can be remembered.

Saturday we all went out into the Metropolis that is Brisbane. After several drinks & a

Try!!!!!!!

Luckily the rain we had all Saturday finished by late afternoon.

I headed out into town to catch up with a subbie and a couple of other guys to go and watch rugby. After a couple of drinks at the Belgian Beer Garden we headed to the match. It was time for the Wallabies to kick

It’s a Goal!

The weekend was another hectic affair. Andreas was back in town.

On Saturday we drove up to Mooloolaba – a sleepy town on the sunshine coast. With the weather being bad (a life saver for the drought) we were unable to go kite surfing. Not forgetting Andreas’ dodgy leg. Anyhow we met up with another Icelandic

Work Hard – Play less. It’s just not cricket you know!

Okay so I have been extremely busy in the last couple of months with work planning the remainder of this year and next year.

I have been working extremely hard and recovering by doing very little socially. Not too bad to say I am paying off the extraordinary amount of cash I spent setting myself up
