Etisalat Part #2

I headed up to the 4th floor where I had been directed. Took a ticket (they love tickets here) sat down and waited for ages. Finally the ticket was called and I went to the desk and sat down.

Me: I’d like to setup a new ADSL internet account please

Him: Sorry but you need to go downstairs to level 3

Off I trotted…

Eventually after queuing in the melee for a while I got to speak to the man who was stood at the end of the floor. He was being barraged from all directions.

Me: I’d like to set up a new ADSL broadband connection.

Him: You need to go over to that counter over there on the other side (provisioning)

Off I went excited with the fact I was getting somewhere.

The counter was shut but the lady told me to go and see the man behind counter number 10

Off I duly went

Me: Where do I go to setup an account I asked (almost pleading now)

Him: You need to come back on Sunday – and see the man at the end of the corridor. The provisioning desk is closed today.

Me: eh? Okay, thanks!

And off I walked..

So apart from being run around in circles I was kind of getting there.
