It’s now Wednesday (I think) …. I’m still deaf after the Grand Prix and Areosmith Concert on Sunday. It was a great event! I”ll update more when I have a spare five minutes.
I’m sat in my hotel room in Beijing doing some work and thought I’d update whilst I was here.
We were picked up on Monday by the limo and driven to Dubai Airport. As we were only taking cabin luggage we were already checked in. It took about 10 minutes through the Business Class Entrance to the time we were in the lounge. Oh, the hassle of such things!
We finally jumped on the plane and enjoyed some of the most delightful food and wine you can imagine.. Entrees – Whatever next?
….. either way I think it’s a touch better than cattle class and highly recommend it.
We flew down to Guangzhou in Guangdong Province and headed out to Dongguan to look at a factory and testing Centre. As we got to the airport early we managed to catch an earlier flight. Unfortunately we got upgraded to first class – it apparantly allows you to jump any queue you like and you are ‘almost’ treated like royalty – the chore of it all!
It’s freezing here – about 3c. And to be honest going from 35c to 3c is bit of a shock but quite refreshing… The snow that fell on the weekend has almost gone to!
Followed by a fair few drinks and some really bad Karaokee we headed back to our rooms around 2pm… I then did a touch of work up to about 3am and have been sat here reading emails since 7am…. oh the joys of it all..
As they say – Work hard Play hard.
