So long – Farewell?

So it is 12:15. I am sat at Brisbane airport waiting for my flight to be called.

Brisbane international airport is in fact one of the better airports to travel through. It’s fully air conditioned departure lounge is great, quiet and comfortable. In fact it is one of the few airports where you can turn up within an hour of an international departure and still make the flight.

I have been through here now on many occasions and it is always a good experience. Today seems extremely quiet though in fact there must be only a couple of hundred people milling around. You can quite easily overstay your welcome at the bar or coffee shop and feel at ease. No one seems to be pressurising you to move on for more customers to rock up.
The coffee is good and makes a nice break from the couple of beers I’ve just had. Anyhow they have just called us for boarding as they anticipate an ‘early departure’ – How unusual is that!

Must dash.
