It’s been pretty hectic at work what with the twelve-hour days and the Saturday / Sunday working there has not been too much time for anything else.
Two weeks ago ‘winter’ (Anything that gets below 15c is freezing here) arrived with vengeance, high winds with a sprinkling of rain to boot. It got so windy that work on site pretty much stopped for at least six days out of ten. This results in having to work any possible day or time to achieve any form of production.
The weather eventually provided an opportunity to have a day off.
I managed to have my first day off on Friday, the first in four months, and only my third this year. It transpired that several of the office guys also had Friday off, so we headed out to the nearby riffle range for a couple of hours and shot our way through some targets and numerous boxes of bullets. Great Fun.
Apart from that not too much else is going on.
My new firewire 800 cable finally turned up, which will allow me to connect my HD camcorder to my MacBook Pro. Time to edit some videos of which I shall post here when I get chance.
In the bigger world the sad passing of several icons of the entertainment world; Farah Fawcett, Michael Jackson & Mollie Sugden has occurred since I wrote last.
The re-runs of Charlies Angels are a great way to start a Saturday or just chilling out to some Classic Jackson Tracks, and who can ever forget Mrs Slocombes pussy!? – Tiddles was the name.
