Okay so I know everyone likes Blackberry Crumble – well why not go one step further?
I have finally gone up in the world and now have a Blackberry Pearl. These things are pretty darn cool as they allow emails to be ‘pushed’ to the phone. Unfortunately to gain the benefits of one of these devices you pretty much have to be connected to a specialised server. These are generally are owned by the corporations – As I work for one, I now have all the benefits.
The net result is that every so often the phone chimes with another email. Which you can read and reply to if urgent. As I recieve up to 40 emails a day, you soon get used to it.
The other benefits are that it is fully linked to the outlook calendar, tasks and address book. So you do not miss anything. It makes you wonder where this technology will go next.
