Wow!
So today I’m sat at home sorting through a load of works stuff and trying to finish off some work stuff. The sun is shinning and the sky is blue. Nothing better than being inside I say!
Now I can hear you all thinking “What? it’s hot and sunny outside why waste it?”, “You should be making the most of it”. You’re almost right except that it is just about 40c outside. Yep! 40c.
There is not one drop of wind so it is pretty unbearable. The aircon inside the house couldn’t cope trying to keep it cool – obviously 26c was too much of an effort for the poor little thing! I have had to resort to having all the windows and doors open, on the off chance of a little breeze. I am even wearing my Sarong!! Thanks Mr Docherty! Now who would have thought a gift that someone gives you on return from holiday would be so useful?
I digress.
Anyhow, It hasn’t really been hot here (30c +) for a while as we have had our fare share of rain. So this is almost veering on the unbearable. In two days time I will be in China on business, where it is a touch cooler. In fact Shenyang, which is my final destination, will be about -5c. That is a BIG jump in temperature!!
I am so looking forward to it!
