Try writing to them and complain!

I did that to Natwest a couple of months ago because they refused to cancel a credit card over the phone. Regardless of the fact that I had actually written to them and canceled it. Let alone phoned them up paid off an outstanding balance etc….. Not forgetting that I politely told them that they were a shower of sh!te and how unreasonable they were, and that I would not recommend them to anyone in the world.

Suffice to say they eventually wrote back appologising profusely. Telling me that everything I had been told on the phone was complete bollocks, and that they would ensure that any bad notes on my credit rating would be removed.

I was saw shocked I actually kept the letter – Just in case…. they screw up again. That way I can ram it back down their throats.

Talking of which does anyone know of any good banks in OZ, as the lovely Commonwealth Bank I am with (this will soon be terminated) told me to shove it after I stood in line for 30mins and asked for a temporary overdraft. To which they replied that it would take a couple of weeks and I would be better served by getting a credit card – This of course would also take a couple of weeks.
