It’s Official!

So this last week has been pretty hectic.

The next couple of months look even busier!

Anyhow it’s official – I have resigned from Works Infrastructure here in NZ. I will be taking up my new post as Project Engineer, working for Thiess on a $200M+ project in Brisbane.

I shall be looking after the $30M Facade of a 37 story, 150m skyscraper. Situated opposite the South Bank it should be a pretty interesting project. I’m sure it’s going to be a challenge but fun.

Relocating to Brisbane will also allow me to extend my diving skills and I am sure it will allow me to further my underwater photography.

I have also acquired my firearms licence so I am assured of some pretty good hunting ahead.

It’s all go. It is going to be sad leaving NZ for Australia, but the opportunity is too good to miss – besides I’ve always wanted to build a skyscraper and I now have the perfect opportunity.
