It’s Monday here. Now as you may have guessed I don’t normally write these during the week – in fact I find it very difficult to write them at all. Today is the Otago Bank Holiday. I’m taking the day off as I am going to be driving up to Tauranga later today to start my ‘new’ job. It’s some sort of sewerage system/pipe laying contract worth $20M I think. I just hope that it is not depressingly boring. The upside is that Tauranga / Mt Maunganui is one of ‘the’ places to be. We shall see!
Anyhow I’ve now finished my present project – Blackpoint irrigation Scheme. So no long drives down there each week – it’s not really a happening place either.
Not sure what else as happened apart from the clocks going back one hour on Saturday. It’s slowly getting darker and colder again. At least where I live has a wood burner. An absolutely fantastic idea these things kick out an extra ordinary amount of heat for very little input.
